Fairview University Medical Center Mesabi - Urgent Care NP/PA

Overview

Fairview Range Health Services seeks an NP/PA to staff a join the team at our urgent care. The Urgent Care is located adjacent to the Emergency Department. Backup and nursing/triage support provided by ED staff. LPN's provide direct support for the Urgent Care providers. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 11am-9pm and Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays 9am-6pm. Holidays are rotated amongst the team. The NP/PA will work 4- 10 hour days per week with an expectation of 8 1/2 patient contact hours per shift. The NP/PA will work 1:4 weekends. Expected patient load: 3 per hour. The NP/PA should be comfortable with urgent care, gyn exams, splinting and laceration repairs. There is a potential in the future to move to 12 hour shifts.

A minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred.
