Job Description

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Rheumatologist to join a multispecialty practice at Fairview Clinics - Blaine.

As a Rheumatologist at Fairview, you will have a strong referral base in a part of the metro eager for Rheumatology services. Practice is co-located with Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Chronic Pain Mgmt. A panel of patients already established for an incoming physician.

Practice Details:

  • Provide outpatient care primarily at Fairview Clinics - Blaine and 1 day / week at nearby Fridley clinic.
  • Onsite diagnostic services include lab and extensive imaging.
  • Onsite specialties include: rehabilitation services, pain management, primary care, and many more.
  • We use a primary nursing model where physicians work primarily with the same CMA/LPN.
  • We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
  • Physicians work a four day clinical work-week with expectation of 36 patient contact hours per week.
  • Physicians admit patients to the Maple Grove Hospital or Fairview Lakes Medical Center hospitalist service.
  • 2 nearby infusion site locations.
  • Clinic hours of operation are flexible to meet the needs of patients and physician preference.

Position Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited ACGME Rheumatology fellowship training program and Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association. Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
