Moonlighting (Hospitalist) at Fairview Hospitalist Services

Job Description

Fairview Health Services has inpatient hospitalist opportunities in five Twin Cities locations. Our Hospitalists work together to manage and advance the care of a wide variety of patients. Each service is independent and designed to partner with community physicians in providing high quality inpatient care. Sub-specialty consults are available at each location.

Practice Information

Orientation shifts provided to all new moonlighters.

In this role, admit and follow unassigned patients from the Emergency Department as well as follow patients from area groups that maintain an outpatient only practice.

• Provide 24/7 inpatient internal medicine service.
• Manage patients from admission to discharge.
• Manage secondary to complex medical illnesses throughout the hospital including the intensive care unit. Specialists for consultation are readily available.

Requirements: Physicians who have completed residency training, are in a fellowship program, or in practice with a Minnesota license and DEA.

Fairview has five hospitalist moonlighting opportunities to meet the needs of patients in Edina (Fairview Southdale Hospital), Burnsville (Fairview Ridges Hospital), Minneapolis (University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview), Wyoming (Fairview Lakes Medical Center) and Maple Grove (Maple Grove Hospital).
